Professional surface coating in Wädenswil
If a component doesn’t fit before assembly yet, Smartresq makes it fit.
A damaged front door shortly before installation? An aluminum profile in the wrong color? Holes drilled on the wrong side? Or a component damaged during assembly or transport? Not every component needs to be replaced or sent back to the manufacturer.
In our new spray booth in Wädenswil, we professionally paint a wide variety of components in the desired color.

From small parts to fire doors
At 400 × 300 × 550 cm (width × height × depth), our spray booth offers plenty of space for a wide variety of components:
- Front doors, fire doors, and door leaves
- Aluminum sheets and covers
- Electrical switch boxes and enclosures
- Enameled surfaces
- Wood and veneer parts
- Plastic parts
- Small parts damaged during assembly or transport
- Components with mis-drilled holes
For logistical reasons, the delivered component may weigh a maximum of 200 kg.
The process
You deliver the component, and we take care of filling, sanding, priming, and professional painting. We mix colors according to sample templates or color codes, or we can also offer various effect coatings.
Your component is usually ready for pickup again after just a few working days.
No time for transport?
Our pickup and delivery service is also available for an extra charge, depending on order volume or distance.
After delivery, our specialists handle the professional surface treatment:
- Sealing holes
- Repairing and filling damaged areas
- Priming the prepared surface
- Painting in the desired color
- Controlled drying
- Final quality check
How the component needs to be prepared
To ensure we can carry out the painting quickly and cleanly, the component must be delivered already prepared:
- Rust spots have been treated.
- Old or unsuitable coatings have been stripped or completely removed.
- Loose parts, fittings, and attachments that are not to be painted have been removed or protected.
- The surface is free of coarse dirt, oil, and grease.
In a few steps to a new surface
- Send us the dimensions and weight of the component.
- Tell us the material and desired color.
- Send us meaningful photos of the surface and the damaged areas.
- You’ll receive a binding quote before work begins.
- After your approval, deliver the prepared component to Wädenswil.
FAQs
Can a metal door be painted?
Yes, we can do this either with the door already installed or in our spray booth. We are set up for individual doors or frames, but not for large series production. Doors such as fire doors should not weigh more than 200 kg.
Can plastic be painted?
Yes, plastic can be painted. First, the surface is cleaned, sanded, and given the appropriate primer. Especially for car parts or household items, chrome-effect painting is an effective way to give old plastic parts a new shine.
Can furniture be painted?
Yes, furniture pieces or individual parts such as doors, drawers, etc. are very well suited for painting. What we don’t do is disassemble furniture, remove old paint with paint stripper, and sand it. You can bring us the prepared parts and we will then paint them in the color of your choice.
Can aluminum be painted without a primer?
Yes. By using a single-coat paint, you can skip the priming step. However, this should only be used when the components are not exposed to heavy loads — this applies to both mechanical and thermal stress. We recommend using 2-component (2K) paints. Aluminum parts on boats, facades, windows, or other sheet metal cladding benefit from an extended lifespan of the paint layer.
